Statesville, North Carolina to Titusville, Florida

I didn't get a chance to take any pictures of the South Carolina and Georgia welcome signs because of traffic.


In South Carolina, I finally saw my first palm trees on I-95 South.

When I was younger, my parents tooks my sisters and I to Florida every Easter to visit my grandparents. It has been about 10 years since I have been back and it feels great to see that Welcome to Florida sign again. It has been too long.

Back on I-95 South on my way to Titusville, Florida.


I wanted to take some pictures of Jacksonville, but I arrived into the city limits around 4:00 PM and rush hour traffic was picking up. I figured I should pay attention to the road rather than getting pictures. I will try to get some on my way back. Oh yeah, I got cut off by one car on my whole trip down, in Jacksonville, and it was someone from Canada. ARG...


YEAH!!! I am in Titusville, Florida. Tomorrow morning, I will be at the Kennedy Space Center.


I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Titusville and this was the view out my room's window. It is the NASA Shuttle Assembly Building where the Shuttle is connected to the SRB's and the External tank. Tommorrow, I will spend the day there and I am sure to have some great pictures.
